1. Who we are
This website, www.villa-smallparadise.gr, is operated by Chrysanthou Maria & Co. LP (distinctive title: Luxury Rentals), Argonauton 5, Ialysos, Rhodes 85101, Greece — VAT 802062466, Reg. No 169184620000. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect and why
Booking requests. When you submit our booking form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), requested dates, number of guests and any message you write. We use this information solely to respond to your request, check availability and arrange your stay. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Direct communication. If you call or email us, we process the contact details and content you provide in order to reply and assist you.
Stay-related details. Before arrival we may ask for your flight number and arrival time to arrange a smooth check-in; Greek law also requires accommodation providers to keep basic guest records.
Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of access) for security and operation of the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not use advertising trackers or profiling. We only share data where necessary to run the website and our business: with our website hosting and email providers, and with authorities where the law requires it (for example, guest registration obligations for accommodation in Greece).
4. Embedded services
Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Maps map to help you locate the villa. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may process technical data such as your IP address and may set cookies, in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set strictly functional cookies (for example, when submitting a form or for logged-in administrators). The embedded Google Map may set third-party cookies as described above.
6. How long we keep your data
Booking requests are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if a stay takes place, for as long as tax and accommodation legislation requires us to keep booking and invoicing records. Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.
7. Security cameras at the property
For the safety of guests and the property, Villa Small Paradise is equipped with two exterior security cameras positioned exclusively at the entrance points (main entrance gate and private parking entrance). The cameras do not record any indoor or private guest areas. Footage is not actively monitored and is reviewed only in the event of a security incident, after which it is deleted in line with the guidance of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask for its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@villa-smallparadise.gr — we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr, Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens).
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data — for example, by adding new services to the website — we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
